Sacramento

Sacramento is such a great town. It has such a small town camaraderie, but with big-city excitement and entertainment.  All the streets are lined with trees. It is really beautiful. The summer Jazz Festival is a city-wide music party. Many talented artists and musicians live in and around Sacramento.

I was on another shoot when I took this picture. I was doing light checks on the roof of a building across from the Capital Building and I turned around and was instantly inspired. The building on my right caught the fire of the evening sun as it was setting and all the colors reminded me (for some reason) of Venice. The clouds looked as if a painter had just painted them up in sky. All the different eras of architechture just captured the essence of the city. The cities population is as diverse as the styles and eras of all the buildings.
